Alloy Circular Radiator Expansion Tank Kit
  • Manufactured from aircraft grade polished alloy
  • Measures 20cm long, 8cm diameter (29 fl. oz capacity).
  • Kit supplied with choice of both 12mm OD (1/2") and 15mm OD (5/8") screw in barbed alloy pipe stubs
  • Top mounted machined alloy cap
  • This tank features on the base a removeable screwed plug with a powerful ceramic magnet which will trap the metal and rust particles (present in most vehicles over a few years old) to prevent them continuing to re-circulate around the cooling system indefinitely and silting internal waterways
  • Silicone sight gauge enables level to be seen at a glance
  • All engines expel coolant when it gets hot, with a recovery tank in the system the expelled fluid is drawn back in when the motor cools down
  • Suitable for fitment to vehicles without a radiator expansion tank or as a replacement for an existing version - ideal if you are building a cooling system from scratch, or to replace the standard plastic header tank
  • Also increase overall coolant capacity - often required by tuned engines
  • Kit is also supplied complete with hose clips and 1 meter 12mm ID (1/2") hose - note that this hose will not be suitable if you use the larger 15mm pipe stubs
  • This tank is beautifully made from polished alloy to enhance under bonnet appearance
